Planning is well under way for this year’s RSA NetWitness User Conference which is taking place September 10 - 11 at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center, National Harbor, MD.

RSA is pleased to announce that the Call for Speakers for customers and partners is now open, and will remain so until Friday May 18. This is the first year that RSA has launched a Call for Speakers to give our customers and partners a chance to share their knowledge and experience with others who are passionate about RSA NetWitness solutions.

Why Should Customers and Partners Present?

• To promote their ideas, trials and successes to their peers
• To increase their professional profile
• To receive a complimentary Speaker Pass which will give them access to all Conference activities including keynote sessions and breakout sessions, as well as access to sponsors and the Welcome Reception.

This year there are 2 session tracks: Technical and Business & Strategy:

Technical Track Submissions: Content should include best practices, deep dive case studies, war stories, innovative uses of the platform, advanced threat analysis, integration successes, etc. The content should be geared to analysts and those who use the product regularly. Screen shots, recorded or interactive demonstrations are required. These are “How To” presentations to educate the audience on customers’ experiences. Topics can include case studies from any of the NetWitness applications (Informer, Investigator, Spectrum, etc.) or NetWitness along with other security tools.

Business & Strategy Track Submissions: Sessions should focus on approaches for leveraging RSA NetWitness, network security strategy concepts or business decisions impacted by network security. Content could include best practices, case studies or war stories. Session examples include innovative SOC strategies, NetWitness fit with overall security vision, how to get executive buy-in, measuring ROI, non-technical case studies etc. Presentations should include an explanation of the business problem, desired outcomes, solution outcomes and any metrics used to measure success.

RSA Global Channel Marketing recently launched the SecurWorld Xchange Community for RSA and Partner Sales Engineers (SEs). With SecurWorld Xchange, your SEs will have the opportunity to share information and discuss ideas regarding RSA product and solutions, as well as quickly reference key tools, FAQs, and other technical resources. They will be able to collaborate with subject-matter experts from RSA as well as peers from the SecurWorld partner ecosystem.

Within SecurWorld Xchange, your SEs can find case studies, datasheets, playbooks and many other technical sales tools. SecurWorld Xchange is an excellent resource to help enhance their technical enablement on RSA products and technology. There’s already some great material on SecurWorld Xchange for your SEs to view and provide commentary, including product documentation and best practices. All SecurWorld Xchange members have the opportunity to create documents that are accessible to users globally.

The SecurWorld Xchange Community is part of the EMC Community Network (ECN) and requires that users have an ECN or a Powerlink account. Access to SecurWorld Xchange requires a membership which can be requested from the RSA Xchange Online home page. Once membership to the ECN has been established, SecurWorld Xchange can be accessed via this direct link.

Contribute and Win
Top three contributors to the SecurWorld Xchange community will win an Apple MacBook Air, iPad 3 or $250 Visa gift card. Top participants will be accessed using the following criteria: participation in most discussions, high quality content, responses to questions from fellow members.

Minimum requirement for qualification:
• At least 5 new articles or post
• Response or comments to 5 questions or discussions
• Appropriately tagging articles (RSA/Security Management/ Authentication etc.)
