Latest Report From Dell'Oro Group Reaffirms Revenue Share Gains During First Quarter, Calendar Year 2012 and QLogic's Continued Market Leadership

ALISO VIEJO, Calif., May 10, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Following its eighth consecutive year of Fibre Channel adapter market share leadership in 2011, QLogic Corp. (Nasdaq:QLGC) today announced that the latest research from Dell'Oro Group confirms QLogic® global market share gains in Fibre Channel adapters for the first quarter of calendar year 2012.

According to the Dell'Oro Group Q1 2012 SAN Report, QLogic held more than 57 percent of total revenue share for the quarter, taking share directly from its closest competitor. With a lead of more than 20 percentage points over its nearest rival, QLogic gained more than 3.6 percentage points of market share from the previous quarter.
