On January 3, 2012 IBM announced that effective Monday, January 23, 2012 at Noon ET, the IBM Power Systems Registration Program will be implemented for all IBM Power Systems hardware and software products that are ordered by machine type/model for a specific opportunity. This new program will replace the current Power Systems Special Bid Certification Program.
