HPSW has conducted research and determined there is a revenue leakage in Upfront CarePacks (ZDELs) due to the current process to push out the support end date to the last day of the expiring month. WW HPSW has made the decision and has received approval to implement a process for ALL HPSW ONLY Upfront CarePacks.
New Process: • New Carepack’s will be set to expire ‘naturally’ at end of term (1yr carepack example = 365 days)
o HPSW will NOT push out the end date to the last day of the expiring month
o Example: Start date of ZDEL CarePack is 04/15/2012 end date would be 04/14/2013 (instead of 04/30/2012)
• Exceptions o CarePacks that would “naturally” end in the last 5 days of the month will continue to be pushed to end of expiry month due to SAP limitations in the subsequent renewal documents
o Example: Start date of ZDEL CarePack is 04/26/2012 end date would be pushed to 04/30/2013 (instead of “naturally” end date of 04/25/2013)
