Since March, Avnet’s industry experts have trained 99 individuals on the intricacies of the Retail, Financial, Healthcare, and Energy markets. These trainings are resulting in identification and execution of targeted business opportunities. In fact, Avnet research indicates that resellers who attended GovPath® University in February 2010 grew their government business at twice the rate of their overall sales growth in the four quarters that followed (35% vs. 17%). One partner stated that within one week of attending a University he uncovered a sales lead by leveraging his new skills and knowledge from the University.
